HEINRICH VON KLEIST - THE LAST CHAPTER OF THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD
The Last Chapter of the History of the World is based on a series of interviews with actors in Berlin and Prague about their experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as on Heinrich von Kleist’s essay On the Marionette Theatre, which describes an early utopia of a theatre without actors. The show examines human presence and absence, confronting an empty theatre space with actors who reassess their place in it, striving to reclaim the stage.
